I work from behind the scenes,
No one knows my name.
Silver tounge and soft caress
Are weapons in my game.
Move the pawns around the board,
Spill blood on every turn.
If only they could see my face,
But no, they'd never learn.
I could show them who I am
But then there'd be no fun.
I will never stop, or let go
Until I know I've won.
I'll make you smile and laugh and kill
The idea was all "your" own.
And when you are all used up
I'll leave you all alone.
From behind the scenes I do my work
I use and I abuse.
And soon enough, You'll find out
Just why I never lose.
